MEXICO & NEPAL

MEXICO
10 days, June
Things to do:
-Swim in a Cenote. I don't have recommendations as to which one. This gal does
-Visit Tulum Ruins and make sure to swim in the ocean. The view of the ruins from Tulum beach was spectacular and the water was ridiculously blue.
-Eat at Posada Mergherita. Yes, counter intuitive to recommend an Italian Restaurant in Mexico but the ambience and food was delicious. Enjoyed a two hour lunch here after a morning at Tulum.

Tips:
I was pretty young when I visited so I don't remember any specific tips.

NEPAL
1.5 months, April & May
Things to do:
-If your cash allows, I highly recommend doing either the Everest Base Camp Trek or Annapurna Circuit. Getting into the Himalayas is one of the best decisions I've made.
-If you are wanting to do some kind of volunteer work, let me know and I can get you in contact with Ram Chandra who works with the NHHO. I had a very positive experience working for him.
-Explore Kathmandu and Pokhara, both are very diverse cities, full of culture and life.

Tips:
-Make sure you have all of the required documentation for getting a visa once you enter Nepal. It will make your trip through customs much quicker.
-Learn how to bargain, you will need it to get around the country.
-Busses break down, people don’t arrive on time, flights get changed, and no one really cares. Once you adapt the hakuna matata attitude, you will fit right in.
